Delphine Bataille (born September 16, 1969) is a French Senator representing the department of Nord and a member of the French Socialist Party.
Political Career
Bataille entered politics in 2004 when she was elected Vice-President of the Carnière Municipal Council, a position she still holds. In 2010, Bataille also became a Regional Councilor for Nord-pas-de-Calais.
In 2011, Bataille was elected to the French Senate for the department of Nord, in Northern France. In the Senate, she serves on the Economic Affairs Committee as well as the Parliamentary Committee for the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Choices. Bataille also serves on the Special Commission on the fight against the Prostitution System.
