Agnieszka Hanajczyk, member of the Polish Parliament

Agnieszka Hanajczyk (b. Jan. 12, 1963 in Zgierz, Poland) - is a Polish politician, an official of the local government and also Member of the Parliament.

Political Career[edit]

In 2002-2007 she served as deputy mayor to Lodz Alexandrov. She was also involved in the activities of the Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Polish Women's League. She obtained a parliamentary seat of the Civic Platform list in the parliamentary elections of 2007. On June 9th, 2011 she was appointed to the Committee of Inquiry created to investigate the allegations of illegal methods of persuasion on police officers, special forces, prosecutors and persons holding judicial office. In 2011, she was a candidate in the parliamentary elections of second place on the list of the electoral committee of the Civic Platform in the constituency No. 11 in Sieradz and obtained a parliamentary seat.

Education[edit]

She graduated from University of Łódź specializing in the field of social policy and social welfare organization.
