Ralf Jäger
Ralf Jäger was born on the 25th of March 1961 in Duisburg. He has been a member of the German Federal Council for the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) since 2010. Besides this, he is the Minister of the Interior and Municipal of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Political career[edit]
Between 1985 and 2000 he worked as a Research Specialist in Health Care. From 1989 to 2000 he was a member of the City Council of the City of Duisburg. In 2005 he was the Chairman of the SPD in Duisburg. He has been a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2000.
Education[edit]
Jäger graduated from German secondary school in 1981 with the Abitur (A-Level). Between 1983 and 1985 he trained as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. From 1995 to 2000 he studied teaching.
