Angela Kolb
Angela Kolb was born on the 22th of October 1963 in Halle an der Saale. She has been a member of the German Federal Council for the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) since 2006. She is the Minister for Justice and Equality of Saxony-Anhalt.
Political career[edit]
Between 1990 and 1991 she was a research assistant at the University of Leipzig. From 1991 to 1999 she held various management positions at the State Office for the Settlement of Open Property Issues in Halle. Subsequently, between 1999 and 2006, she was a professor at the Harz University of Applied Scienes in Halberstadt. She has been a member of the SPD since 2003. Since 2001, she has worked as a member of the Federal Council of Saxony-Anhalt.
Education[edit]
Kolb graduated from German secondary school in 1982 with the Abitur (A-Level). Between 1982 and 1986 she studied law in Halle-Wittenberg and in 1989 she received her doctorate.
