Eleni Makri-Theodorou
Eleni Makri-Theodorou was born in Lamia in 1966. She is a Greek politician and teacher.
Political Career[edit]
She was elected asMP for Fthiotida with New Democracy for the first time in the general election of June 2012. She is a regional councilor of Central Greece, the only elected woman representing the party of New Democracy. She is a vice president of Fthiotida in the education sector and representative of the union of prefectural authorities of Greece. She was a town counselor of the municipality of Leianokladion from 1999 to 2006 and the secretary of the municipal council in Lamia. She has participated as a trainer and trainee in many educational and social-cultural seminars and conferences. She was a member of the primary and nursery teachers’ association of Central Greece and a representative of the Central Union of municipalities and communities.
Education Career[edit]
She is a graduate of the department of Primary Education of the University of Athens and department of National and European Studies of Panteion University. She holds a Master’s degree in the Adult Education. She speaks French.
