Vartkes Mahdessian was born in Nicosia in 1950. He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and businessman.
Political Career
He was Representative of the Armenian religious group since 2006, Chairman of the Armenian Young Men’s Association (AYMA) for the period 1996-1998 and elected member of the Diocesan Committee of the Armenia Church Council for the period 1999-2006.
Education
He studied Business Administration and holds a postgraduate diploma in Management Studies (Hatfield Polytechnic, United Kingdom).He speaks English and Turkish.
