George Kyritsis
George Kyritsis was born in Trikala. He is a Greek politician and Actor –Writer.
Political Career[edit]
He was elected an MP of the Prefecture of Trikala with “Democratic Left” at the June 2012 elections.
Education Career[edit]
He graduated from 1st High School of Trikala and studied at the Drama School of Pelos Katselis.
Notable Work[edit]
He played in almost all of the great plays of the world theatre repertory (Sophocles, Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Ibsen, Pirandello, Pinter, Brecht, Gorky), in films and many television series. He has worked with some of the major Greek and foreign directors and actors of the Modern Greek theatre. He also created with Elena Akrita the “Melina Theatre” and they presented Oscar Wilde’s “The importance of being earnest”, and Neil Simon’s “Chapter two”. He has also written with Elena Akrita many popular television series and they have been honored for their work with nine awards.
