Luis Rogelio Rodríguez Comendador Pérez, born in Madrid on the 19th February 1959, is a Spanish senator elected for the constituency of Almería (Andalusia) for the 10th term. He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

Luis Rogelio Rodríguez Comendador Pérez was elected as senator for the first time in the current term. During this term, he is acting as first vice-president for the Defence Commission and as spokesman for the Justice Commission. Before becoming a senator, Luis Rogelio Rodríguez Comendador Pérez had also been councillor and mayor of the city of Almería for six different terms. In the regional Parliament of Andalusia, he has been a deputy for two terms (2000-2004, 2004-2008). In the Provincial Council of Almería he has been President for two terms also (1995-1999, 1999-2003).

Education

Luis Rogelio Rodríguez Comendador Pérez has a degree in Law.
