Gianluca Benamati (September 14, 1962) is an Italian researcher and politician.
Political career[edit]
He was first elected in 2008 to the Italian Chamber of Deputies for Partito Democratico, and served as a member of the Environment, Territory and Public Goods Commission, the Productive Activities, Trade and Tourism Commission.
He was re-elected in 2013, for Partito Democratico. Then, he joined the Abusive Trade, Falsification Phenomena and Trade Piracy Commission and the Government's Acts Special Analysis Commission, retaining the seat in the Productive Activities, Trade and Tourism Commission.

He obtained a degree in chemical engineering.
