Gabriele Fograscher
Gabriele Fograscher is a member of the SPD and was born on May 6, 1957 in Nördlingen, Germany. She is a teacher by profession.
Political Career[edit]
Fograscher is currently the chair of the Association of Social Democratic Women in Donau-Ries, a member of the Executive Board of the SPD in Donau-Ries, and a member of the Donau-Ries district council. She has been a member of the Bundestag since 1994.
Education[edit]
In 1978, she obtained her certification as a state-approved homemaker. This was followed by a degree in education from the State Institute for Training of Specialized Teachers. In 1981, she obtained her second teaching certificate. She accepted a lifetime appointment to the civil service in 1984.
