Klaus Peter Brähmig
Klaus Peter Brähmig is a member of the CDU/CSU and was born on August 1, 1957 in Königstein, Germany. He is an electrician by profession.
Political Career[edit]
Brähmig has been a member of the CDU since January 1990. Previously he was not affiliated with any political party. He is a board member in the CDU District Association of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains. He has been a member of the Bundestag since 1990 and since November 2009, he been the Chairman of the Committee on Tourism in the Bundestag.
Education[edit]
From 1974 to 1977, Brähmig completed an apprenticeship as an electrician in Pirna. From 1980 to 1983 he completed his training to obtain a certification as a master craftsman in the Chamber of Crafts Dresden.
