Güler Turan
Güler Turan was born on the 1st February 1975 in Gent (Belgium). She is a member of the Belgian Senate as Community Senator for the Flemish Socialist Party (SP.A).
Political Career[edit]
She has been a councillor in Antwerp for the SP.A since 2007. She was alderman in Antwerp from 2011-2012. In 2009 she was elected to the Flemish Parliament. Since the 2010 national elections, she has held a seat in the Belgian Senate as Community Senator for the Flemish socialists (SP.A).
Education[edit]
She graduated with a degree in law from the University of Antwerp, followed by a Master’s degree in business law.
