Jacques Brotchi
Jacques Brotchi was born on 11 August 1942 in Luik (Belgium). He is a member of the Belgian Senate. He holds the post of Community Senator for the Walloon Liberal Party (MR).
Political Career[edit]
Brotchi became politically active as co-opted Senator in 2004. Two years later, in 2006, he was elected as a councillor for Ukkel where he stayed until 2012. In 2009, he became a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region and of the Parliament of the French Community. In 2010, he returned to the Senate as Community Senator for MR. Brotchi is currently Community Senator, a member of the Parliament of Federation Walloon-Brussels, and of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region.
