Ulrich Nußbaum, born April 10, 1957 in Trassem, is a German jurist and non-party politician. He was Senator of Finance of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen from 2003 to 2007 and since May 2009, Finance Minister for Berlin.

Political Career

From 2003 to June 2007, Nussbaum was Bremen Senator for Finance.

2003-2007 Senator for Finance of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen; Since May 2009 Senator of Finance of the State of Berlin; Deputy Member of the Federal Council from July 2003 to June 2007 and member of the Federal Council since May 2009.

Education

He studied Law and Political Science at Saarbrücken, Geneva, Strasbourg Universities and the University of London. In 1985 he passed the Second State Examination in Saarbrücken. In 1989 he was admitted as a lawyer.
