María Caridad García Álvarez, born in Cartagena (Murcia) on the 26th August of 1946, is a Spanish national deputy elected for the constituency of Madrid in the 10th term. She is a member of Izquierda Unida (IU-Left Party).

Political Career

María Caridad García was elected as national deputy for the first time in the current term. She is acting as spokesperson of the Sport and Education Commission and also for other commissions such as the Equality Commission. Before becoming a national deputy, María Caridad García Álvarez had also been regional deputy for four different terms of parliament in Madrid where she was spokesperson for Social and Health Affairs. Inside the party she has been member of the presidency of Madrid IU.

María Caridad García does not have higher level studies.
