Katarina Brännström was born in 1950 in Småland, Sweden. She is a member of the Swedish parliament representing the Moderate Party.
Political Career[edit]
After many years working with banks and insurance she was in 2006 elected as member of parliament from the Kronobergs Municipality. Between 2006-2014 she was a member of the Nordic Council representing Sweden. Katarina Brännström was a deputy in the Committee of Civil Affairs and the Committee of Law in 2006-2010. She was also a deputy in the Committee of Social Affairs in 2010-2014. Since 2010 she has been a member of the Committe of Labor.
