Seth Rogen

Seth Rogen (born April 15, 1982) is a Canadian actor, comedian and filmmaker from Vancouver, British Columbia. Rogen began his celebrity career in stand up comedy and later moved to acting in films such as Knocked Up, 50/50, Neighbors and This is the End. Rogen attended Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School and later, Point Grey Secondary School, although he dropped out prior to graduating. He began his comedy career with stand up comedy and soon landed a supporting role in the television series Freaks and Geeks. As well, Rogen co-wrote the film Superbad with his friend Evan Goldberg. Rogen’s popularity skyrocketed after starring in the film Knocked Up with Katherin Heigl and since then, he has starred in a number of comedic films such as Pineapple Express, Funny People, Green Hornet, This is the End and Neighbors.

Humanitarian Causes

Rogen is very outspoken about raising awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease as it runs in his wife’s side of the family. "I think until you see it firsthand, it's kind of hard to conceive of how brutal it is," Rogen said to CNN, "Until I saw it, you just don't get kind of how heartbreaking it can be”.

Philanthropic Donations

Rogen donates to a number of social charities and causes including: The Alzheimer’s Association, Hilarity for Charity, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Stand Up to Cancer, UNICEF, the MS Society, the Women’s Image Network and others.

Seth Rogen is also a member of NORML (The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) and is an open marijuana user.
