Egbert Lachaert
Egbert Lachaert (Gent, 4 July 1977) is a Belgian lawyer and politician affiliated to the Flemish liberal party, Open VLD.
Political career[edit]
Since 2012 Lachaert has been a member of the city council of Merelbeke. From 2013-2014 he was a member of the Flemish parliament and since 2014 he is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives.
Education[edit]
Lachaert studied Law at the University of Ghent (2000) and was an active member of the Liberal Flemish Student Association which he presided from 1999-2000.
