Dietmar Woidke
Dietmar Woidke born 22 October 1961 is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Since August 2013, Woidke has served as Minister-President of Brandenburg. He is married.
Political Career[edit]
From 2004 to 2009 he was the Minister for Rural Development, Environment and Consumer Protection of the Federal State of Brandenburg. Following by his Manadate as the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg from 2010 to 2013. Currently Dietmar Woidke is the Minister President of Brandenburg and after being a Deputy Member of the Federal Council from 2004 to 2009 he is now and current member of the Federal Council.
Education[edit]
Dietmar Woidke studied Agricultural Science at Humboldt University from 1982 to 1987 in Berlin and worked as a Research assistant at the Institute for Nutritional Physiology from 1987 to 1991 also at the Humboldt University Berlin. From 1991 to 1992 he was Head of the Scientific Department of SANO - mineral feed GmbH followed by his work as the Head of the Office of Environment and Agriculture of the district Spree from 1992 to 1994.
