Catarina Soares Martins was born on September 7th, 1973. She currently works as an actress.
Political Career[edit]
This is Catarina Martins’ second mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the Bloco de Esquerda political force, since she started her activity on the 11th legislature (15.10.2009). She is currently a member of several parliamentary committees (Social Security and Labour; European Affairs; Education, Science and Culture).

Catarina Martins holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Literatures and a Master's degree in Linguistics.
