Paula Gonçalves

Paula Cristina Pereira Gonçalves e Álvaro was born on March 24th, 1969. She is a university professor and currently serves as a deputy at the Portuguese National Assembly.

Political Career

She was elected by the electoral circle of Porto through the Social Democratic Party to serve as a deputy on the XII Legislature (2011-2015). Presently, she takes part in various Parliamentary Commissions including the European Affairs and in the Ethic, Citizenship and Communication Commissions.

Education

Paula Baptista holds a degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education, a Masters in Adapted Physical Activity and a PhD in Special Teaching on Physical Education and Sports (Specialization – Cardiac Rehabilitation).
