Andrzej Jaworski
Andrzej Jaworki was born on 16th December 1970 in Włocławek. He was chief of the Gdańsk Shipyard. He is member of the Polish Parliament.
Political career
From 1998 to 2002, Andrzej Jaworski was a councillor in Gdańsk. After this he was active as:
- Member of the Polish Tourist Organisation - Member of the Supervisory Board of PKP Intercity SA, - Chairman of the Board of Energy Concern Energa SA - Member of the Programme Council TVP Gdańsk Branch. - Councillor Pomeranian Region (2006-2009)
Currently as a member of Polish Parliament he is working as:
- Vice Chairman of the Treasury Committee - Member of the Committee on Justice and Human Rights - Representative of the OECD - President of the Parliamentary Group of Polish-Singapore partnership.
Social activity
From 1987 to 1992, Jaworski was an inspector in the Polish Scout Organisation. He was also vice-president of the Association of Support for European Integration and an active participant in the activities of the Baltic Tourism Commission and a member of the Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a member of the National Geographic Society. For his contribution to tourism in 2001, he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Main Board PTTK. In 2007 he was Gentleman of the Year. In 2010 was awarded the title of Homo popularis. In 2014, Polish Solidarity Union Veterans awarded him the Cross "Semper Fidelis". He is the author and editor of many articles and publications. He has also co-created television and radio programs.
