Louis Bontes (born on February 28th, 1956 in Rotterdam) is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Bontes van Klaveren (GrBvK).

Political Career

From July 14th, 2009 until June 17th, 2010 Louis Bontes was a member of the European Parliament and since June 17th, 2010 he has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives. First he was in the House for the Party for Freedom (PVV) until October 29th, 2013. From April 15th, 2014 Louis Bontes fulfilled a fraction with Joram van Klaveren. In the Dutch House of Representatives he focuses on police, civil and administrative law, counter-terrorism and security regions.

Education

Louis Bontes did a Bachelor Public Management at the Haagse Hogeschool in 2003. Then he did a degree in Public administration and organizational science from the University of Utrecht in 2006 (cum laude).
