Patrick Burke
Introduction[edit]
Patrick “Paddy” Burke was born on January 15th, 1955 in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland. He is an Irish Fine Gael politician and has been a member of the Seanad Eireann since February 1993.
Political Career[edit]
Paddy Burke was a member of Mayo County Council between 1979 and 2003. During his political activities he has served as Seanad Spokesperson on Defence and Emigrant Affairs and Leas Cathaoirleach of the Seanad. Since 1993 Paddy Burke has been a Senator and he was elected to the Seanad Eireann on the Agricultural Panel in April 2011.
