Zvonko Lah

Zvonko Lah (born January 21, 1958) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Slovenian Democratic Party (Slovenian: Slovenska demokratska stranka, also known by the acronym SDS).

Political Career

In 1996, he became the president of the local community, which became a municipality after two years. He performed the function of the Mayor of the Municipality Mirna Peč for four terms.

In 2008 he was elected to the National Assembly y for the first time, then he was re-elected on preliminary elections in 2011 and again in 2014.

Professional Career

He worked in the company Trimo Trebnje, where he held various jobs, from the constructor to the site manager. In 1991, he decided to go independent entrepreneur. Having experience in building site management, he has led various building committees for the asphalt paving of roads and the construction of a telecommunications network.

Education

He is a mechanical engineer.
