Michèle André

Michèle André has been a member of the Senate of France since 2001 for the costituency of Puy-de-Dôme. She's a member of the Senate Socialist Group.

Biography

Michèle André was born in 1947 and has been initially working as a director of medical-social structures. From 1981 to 1983 she has been regional delegate for Women Rights, from 1983 to 2001 she has been municipal and regional councilor for Clermont-Ferrand, from 1988 to 1991 State Secretery specialised in women rights and from 2001 to 2004 vice president of the General Council of Puy-de-Dome responsible for culture, sport and associative life.
