He studied Business Law at the University of Paris I-Pantheon Sorbonne, where he graduated in 1986. In 1987 he got a master in Comparative Law and Legal Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and in 1988 he got a master in Law from the Harvard Law School in United States, with the thesis title: "Media Newsgathering by Satellites".
History[edit]
Luc Frieden was born in Esch-sur-Alzette on 26th September 1963. Besides politics he has been working as barrister in Luxembourg (1989 – 1998) and as lecturer in Luxembourg Public Law at the University Centre of Luxembourg. He also contributes to RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg and is a Fellow of the Moral and Political Science Section of the Grand Ducal Institute. He published several articles on banking law and constitutional law.
