Michael Yeung Sik Yuen
J.M.T.S. Yeung Sik Yuen has been Minister of Tourism and Leisure of Mauritius since August 2011.
Political Career[edit]
Prior to this Mr. Yeung Sik Yuen was the Mayor of the Municipal Council of Curepipe from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010 he was the Chairman of The Social Welfare, Arts & Culture Committee. In 2010 he became Minister of Business, Entreprise, Cooperatives and Consumer Protection and held this position until 2011. Mr. Yeung Sik Yuen also has experience in the retail and the food distribution industries.
Education[edit]
He obtained his bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing from the Concordia University Montréal in Canada.
