Omar Zniber, born in the 1956 in Salè, is a Moroccan diplomat.

Political Career[edit]

In 2011 Omar Zniber was appointed to be the Ambassador of Morocco to Germany. Prior to this he held several positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Coooperation. He has been the Director of the United Nations and international organizations between 1999 and 2003. He was also the advisor to the Permanent Mission of Morocco in Geneva on several important issues. He was the Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Foreign affairs until 1996. In 2003 Omar Zniber became the Ambassador to Slovakia and Slovenia and the Republic of Austria.

Education[edit]

Omar Zniber has a PhD in Public International Law on the Succession of States and the Treaties of Borders of Africa from the University of Paris. Mr Zniber holds a doctorate in international public law from the University of Assas Panthéon in Paris, France, and a master's degree in public law from the University Mohamed V for Legal and Social Sciences, Rabat, Morocco
