Emmanuel Nahshon was born in Paris in 1961. He is an Israeli diplomat and former Minister of the Embassy of Israel in Berlin.

Professional Career[edit]

In 1992, Emmanuel Nahshon joined the Diplomatic Service in Jerusalem, Israel. He served as the Junior Secretary of the Israeli Embassy in Caracas from 1994-1996. He then worked as Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2000-2002 and began his diplomatic mission in the Israeli Embassy as a Minister in Ankara in 2002. In 2009, he became Minister of the Israeli Embassy in Berlin until he returned to Jerusalem in 2014.


Education[edit]

He graduated from Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a degree in law. Nahshon is fluent in Hebrew, French, Turkish, English, Spanish and German.
