Helga Daub was born 12. June 1942 in Wuppertal, Germany. She is a German politician and a member of The Free Democratic Party (FDP).

Political Career[edit]

She made her move into politics by becoming a member of the Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP) in the 1980s. Since her first political postings she gone gained increasing prominence; between 2002 – 2005 she was a Member of the German Bundestag, Member of the Defence Committee, Substitute member of the Tourism Committee and Deputy Member of the Cultural Committee. Since 2006, she has held the position of Regional Executive of the FDP in North Rhine-Westphalia, and Vice-Chairman of the Liberal NRW. Since 2008 she has been the FDP parliamentary candidate in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein.

Education[edit]

Helga Daub attended to hotel school in Dortmund , which she finished in 1962 as a hotel clerk.
