Mykola Zhulynsky
Mykola Zhulynsky is a writer, critic, literature expert and the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Political Career[edit]
Starting his political career as state advisor for humanitarian politics in 1992, Zhulysnky has since held many prominent positions. Deputy Prime Minister for two occasions from 1992 to 1994 & 1999 to 2001, he has also headed several cultural parliamentary committees includingthe committee for creativity, arts, language and cultural politics andthe committee and the committee for cultural and historical heritage protection. Between 2006 and 2010, Zhulysnky has also been head of the Presidential National Council on Culture and the Presidential Committee on Nationality. Additionally he has served as advisor to the President until 2008.
