Pia Adelsteen
Pia Adelsteen Andersen, born September 11th 1963 in Korsør. Member of Parliament for the Danish People's Party in North Zealand greater constituency from November 13th 2007. Candidate for the Danish People's Party in Egedal nomination district from 2007.
Political Career
Spokeswoman on the EU, gender equality and environment. Member of the European Affairs Committe, the Gender Equality Committee, the Employment Committee and the Legal Affairs Committee. Deputy member of the Nordic Council. Affiliations Member of the town council in Slangerup Municipality 2002-2006. Member of the town council in Frederikssund Municipality from 2006, member of the amalgamation committee 2006, vice-chairwoman of the social services and prevention committee 2007-2009 and member of the committee on economic affairs from 2012. Member of Copenhagen Capital Region (KKR Hovedstaden) 2006-2009. Member of the Local Tax Appeals Tribunal in Frederikssund 2006-2010.
Education
Upper secondary school leaving certificate in the music-languages line, Allerød Upper Secondary School, from 1980 to 1983.
