Maurice Antiste
Maurice Antiste was born on the 22nd of juin 1953 and has been working before as humanities Professor. He has been vice president of General and Regional Councils of Martinique.
Political career
Maurice Antiste is a member of the Senate of France since his election in 2011. He represents the constituency of Martinique and is member of the Socialist Group of Senate. He is member of the Commision of Culture, Education and Communication; member of the Senatorial Delegation Overseas; member of the Study Board on Hunting and Fishing, Social and Solidal Economy, Popular Education and Culture, Sea and Boardsea. Maurice Antiste is the Mayor of François; and member of the National Evaluation Commission of Politics of Overseas Nations
