Jean-Paul Amoudry was born in 1950 in Sérraval, Upper-Savoy and got his diploma in law. Before politics, he has been working as territorial director.

Political Career

Jean-Paul Amoudry is a member of the Senate of France in representation of the Union of Democrates and Indipendents, elected for the first time in 1995 and then in 2004, for the constituency of Upper-Savoy, "Haute Savoie". He is member of the Commissin on Social Affairs; member of the Study Board on Hunting and Fishing, Energy, Mountains Economic Development; member of the French Justice Court; member of the Common Mission on the access to administrative documents and public data. Jean-Paul Amoudry is also General councelor of Upper-Savoy and Vice-President of the National Commission on IT and Freedom
