Wouter Koolmees was born on the 20th of March 1977 in Capelle aan den Ijssel. He is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Democrats 66 Party (D66).
Political career
Before his political career, he was a researcher at the Dutch Economic Institute. Between 2003 and 2010, he held different positions in the Ministry of Finance.
Education
Between 1996 and 2001, Koolmees studied social and institutional economy at the University of Utrecht.
