Arkadiusz Litwiński

Arkadiusz Litwiński was born on 31th July 1970 in Szczecin, Poland. He is a Polish politician, official of local government and a member of Parliament (V, VI and VII term).

Political Career

From 1998 to 2005 he was a councilor of the city council of Szczecin, in 1999-2002 he served as vice chairman. Since 2001 he belongs to Platforma Obywatelska (the Civic Platform). From 2002 to 2005 he presided over the club PO and PiS councilors in the city council. He served as treasurer of the regional board and the vice-president of the district board of PO in Szczecin. In elections in 2005, he started as member of PO. He belonged to the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry, Labour Committee, also served on the Special Committee. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, he was re-elected as a member of parliament of Civic Platform. In 2011, he was a candidate in the parliamentary elections of third place on the list of the electoral committee of the Civic Platform and obtained a parliamentary seat.

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Szczecin (1994) and from postgraduate studies in the West Pomeranian Business School and Fachhochschule Dortmund (1996).
