Arnold Merkies
Arnold Merkies was born on the 6th of December 1968 in Bodegraven. He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the Socialist Party (SP).
Political career
Before his political career, he worked for various different financial companies. Between 2006 and 2012 he was a staff member of the financial department of the Socialist Party in the House of Representatives.
Education
Merkies studied Economy at the University of Amsterdam between 1988 and 1994.
