History
He was born May 16, 1963 in Juodšiliai, Vilnius District, Lithuania. Married with two children.
Awards: Medal to commemorate Lithuania’s membership of the EU and NATO (2004); Cross of Commander of the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas; Commemorative Badge awarded on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the coronation of Mindaugas as King of Lithuania; national award of Finland (1998); national award of France (2003); Order of Honour of Georgia (2013).
Activities: co-founder of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute and the Institute of Liberal Thought; initiator and supporter of the public movements Knowledge Economy Forum and People for Animals.
