Eugenio Jesús Gonzálevez GarcÃa
Eugenio Jesús Gonzálevez García, born in Gádor (Almeria) on the 15th October 1959, is a Spanish senator for the constituency of Almeria for the 10th term. He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).
Political Career
Jose María Ángel Batalla was elected as senator for the first time in the 9th term. During the current term, he is acting as vice-president of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Committee. He is also a member of the International Affairs Committee and the incompatibilities Commission. Before becoming a senator he was also Mayor of the city of Gádor (Almería) for 4 different terms and deputy in the Andalusia’s Parliament (1990-2008).
