Georgios Stylios
Georgios Stylios was born in Arta in 1971. He is a Greek politician and Physician.
Political Career
From an early stage he was active in student affairs, he was chairman of the Student Physics and member of the board of the Rector of the Aristotle University Senate (1990-1994). Alongside his studies, he became a member of the student organization, DAP-NDFK, in which he was responsible for the school secretary city of Thessaloniki (1992-1994) and was also a representative of the Central Council (1992-1994) and FEAPTH (1991 -1994). The period 1996-2004, George Stylios was a member of the Central Committee of ND.
From April 2004 to 2006, he was Research Associate Deputy Minister of Sport, Georgios Stylios was responsible for Sports Projects and Infrastructure. After September 2007, he worked with Kostis Hatzidakis, initially in the Ministry of Transport and Communications and then the Ministry of Development. He was an elected Member of Arta in 2012.
Education Career
In1989 he was introduced in the Physics Department of the Aristotle University. After completing his bachelor degree, he moved to England for postgraduate study at London City University majoring in "Information Systems and Technology”. He speaks English.
Notable Work
In 2006, he was elected lecturer in the Department of Applied Informatics in Management and Economics, TEI of Ionian Islands and Lefkada and Professor in Computer Engineering and Informatics at University of Patras. From September 2008 to 2011 he was Head of the same department and was responsible for the organization and operation of a second division.
