Hans Christian Thoning
Hans Christian Thoning, was born on February 20th 1952 in Jernvedlund.
Political Career
He is a Representative on tourism, the Home Guard, emergency reaction and waterworks. He has been a Member of the Defence Committee, the Municipal Affairs Committee, the Environment Committee, the Business, Growth and Export Committee and the Scrutineers' Committee.
Education
He has studied at the Technology Denmark in Copenhagen 1974-1975 and completed his Higher Technical Examination in Esbjerg between 1972 and 1974. He then worked for The Armed Forces at Skrydstrup in 1971-1972.
Notable Work
He has been Chairperson of Blåvand Trade and Industry Association 1985-1988, Chairperson during the Start-up of Blåvandshuk Golf Club 1987-1990, a Member of Blåvandshuk Municipal Council 1994-2006, the Mayor 2002-2007, chairperson of the regional planning and environment committee, Member of KIMO Denmark (the Municipalities' International Environmental Organisation) from 1994 and then chairperson from 2006. He was Vice-President of KIMO International 2006 and subsequently president in 2007. He was a Member of Varde Municipal Council 2006-2009, 1st vice chairperson of the amalgamation committee 2006 and first Deputy Mayor in 2007.
