Jozef Kollár
Jozef Kollár was born on the 6th of August 1961. He is a member of the Slovak National Council as a candidate of SaS. He is a vice-chairman of theCommittee on Finance and Budget and a member of the Committee on European Affairs.
Political Career
Jozef Kollár started his political career in 2009 when he became a member of theSaS party and in 2010 was elected into the Slovak National Council; he was a member of the Committee on Finance and Budget. In 2012, Kollár was reelected but in 2013 he left SaS and became a full member of NOVA party.
Education
In 1983, Jozef Kollár graduated from the Ekonomická univerzita in Bratislava. He obtained his doctorate in 1990 from the Institute of Economic Research of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. After that, Kollár studied at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA (in 1993) and at the Graduate School of Banking in Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma, USA (1994-1995). In 1996, Kollár also passed a one-month-stay in the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship in Yokohama, Japan.
