Ralf Holzschuher
Ralf Holzschuher was born on the 17th of February 1963 in Berlin. He has been a member of the German Federal Council for the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) since 2013. He is the Minister of the Interior in Brandenburg.
Political career
Since 1991 he has been a lawyer in Brandenburg an der Havel. Between 1996 and 2005 he was the Chairman of the SPD-local association in Brandenburg / Neustadt. From 2004 he has been a member of the Federal Council of Brandenburg. Moreover from 2005 he has been the chairman of the SPD sub-district of Brandenburg an der Havel. From 2010 to 2013 he was the chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in Brandenburg.
Education
Holzschuher graduated from German secondary school in 1981 with the Abitur (A-Level). Between 1982 and 1987 he studied law at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Tübingen.
