Steven Vandeput
Steven Vandeput was born on March 30th 1967 in Hasselt. He has been Belgian Minister of Defence and Civil Service Affairs in Government Michel since October 2014. He is a member of the Flemish Nationalist Party (N-VA).
Political Career
Steven Vandeput started his political career as regional president of N-VA in Limburg. He got elected in 2010 as a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalists. After the national elections on May 25th 2014, he became Minister of Defence and Civil Service Affairs.
Education
He graduated in business and financial science from the Economic College of Limburg.
