Wright, Jeremy
Jeremy Wright MP is a member of parliament for the constituency of Kenilworth and Southam, he is a member of the Conservative Party and has been in office since 2010.
Biography
Jeremy Wright was born in 1972 in Taunton, Somerset. He attended the Taunton School, then the Trinity School in New York City, the Exeter University and the Inns of Court School of Law.
Political Career
Elected to Parliament in 2005 to represent the former Rugby and Kenilworth constituency. Elected MP for the new Kenilworth and Southam constituency after Rugby and Kenilworth constituency abolished. Served as a member of the Justice Committee and founded the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia in 2007 and served as its chair until 2010. Made an Opposition Whip in 2007 and became a Government Whip with the formation of the new Government in 2010.
