Besides being the President of the intermunicipal assembly "Viseu Dão Lafões" (since 2013), Acácio Pinto is also a deputy of the municipal assembly of Satão (since 2013). This is his second mandate as a deputy at the National Parliament for the Socialist Party (PS), since he started his activity on the 11th legislature (2009-10-15). He takes actually part of several parliamentary committees (Economy and Public Works; Agriculture and Sea; Education, Science and Culture; Tourism; and Indiscipline at School).
