Adamos Adamou was born in Limissol in 1950. He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and Consultant medical oncologist.

Political Career[edit]

He was Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces 2003-2004 and of Limassol constituency since May 2011. as well as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on the Environment.Moreover he served as Member of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and of the House Standing Committee on Health Affairs.He elected Member of the delegation of the House to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE),Member of the European Parliament (Confederal Group of the European United Left - Nordic Green Left) for the period 2004-2009. Furthermore he served as Head of the delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council for the period 2004-2006,Member of the board of the Nursing School of the Ministry of Health for the period 1992-2002, and Member of the board of the Drug Council of the Ministry of Health between 1999-2002. Las but not lease, he served as Member of the board of the Cyprus Anti-cancer Society since 1996.

Education[edit]

He graduated in Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialisation in Pathology (Athens) and Internal Medicine-Oncology (Athens and United States of America).
