Aliosman Ibrahim Imamov

Aliosman Ibrahim Imamov is the Vice President of the National Assembly and was a member of the Movement for Rights and Freedom Political Party in Bulgaria. He was born on 20 March 1953 in Albanitsa.

Professioanl Experience and Political career

Imamov has held the position of Vice President of the 42th National Assembly since 21 May 2013. He is a member of the Parliamentary Group for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. He was the Deputy Chairperson of the Parliamentary Group for the period of 21 May 2013 -11 December 2013. He also held the Chairman position of Committee on Economic Policy and Tourism since 19 June 2013.

Has was a member of the Ad Hoc Committee for verification of expenditures, appointments and transactions made in the last year of the Sergey Stanishev government. He was a representative delegate to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe between the period of 4th of September 2009 to 24th of March 2010.

Aliosman Ibrahim Imamov is an Assoc. Prof. Dr. at the faculty of Applied Informatics and Statistics at the department of Statistics and Econometrics.

Notable Works

He was Vice President of the Bulgarian Friendship Bulgarian Group in Egypt and Canada and a member of numerous other Friendship Groups.
