Andrej Kolesík was born on the 23rd of June 1982. He is a member of the Slovak National Council representing the Smer-SD. He is a vice-chairman of the Committee on European Affairs and a member of the Committee on Economic Affairs.

Political Career

In 2008, Andrej Kolesík was elected as the president of the leftist youth organization Young Social Democrats (until 2012) which became an official youth organization of the SMER-SD in 2008. In 2010, Kolesík was elected as a member of the Slovak National Council for the first time. At the time he was the youngest member of the Parliament.In 2012, he was reelected and he became a vice-chairman of the Committee for European Affairs, and also worked in the Committee on Economic Affairs.

Education

In 2006, Andrej Kolesík graduated from the Faculty of Science at the Univerzita Komenského in Bratislava.

Notable Work

In 2011, Andrej Kolesí was elected as the president of the Association of Sports Clubs (AŠK) Inter Bratislava at its 7th General Assembly. In this position he is actively involved in the promotion of youth sports.
